GREENbimlabs wins the prestigious
OOTB Award

GREENbimlabs has been named a winner of the prestigious OOTB-Award 2021, organized by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs. With 1500 competitors, 12 impressive finalists and multiple rounds of rigorous selection processes, and votes from the community and the jury, the highly competitive award is one of the most prestigious start-up competitions in Germany. The annual award recognized GREENbimlabs as an emerging tech company in bringing critical innovation to the built world in order to ensure a sustainable future. GREENbimlabs' CEO and co-founder Dr.-Ing. Stanimira Markova joined the stage with 11 other finalists at Pirate Summit 2021 in front of a highly distinguished jury and an impressive audience comprising of investors, corporates, entrepreneurs and top-flight decision-makers and presented the company's mission of building a sustainable future for the current and the next generations. After multiple presentations and Q&As, she proudly accepted the award.

Markova, "For me personally slightly bitter-sweet: I was once again the only female finalist and represented the only finalist company lead by a female leader."

About the OOTB Award

OUT OF THE BOX.NRW is a competition launched by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs for startups that pursue a digital business model and with a total of 50,000 euros in prize money, it is one of the most highly endowed startup competitions. From a pool of more than 100 nominated startups, the community’s and the jury’s votes decide which twelve startups will have the opportunity to present themselves at the OOTB Award during the PIRATE Live. In the final stage, the three best startups will receive cash prizes totaling 50,000 euros.
